Senior Director, Population Health and Health Equity
Robert is the Sr. Director, Population Health and Equity with RTI Health Advance.

Robert is a physician leader and health policy expert with 10+ years of experience in social drivers of health, health equity, health system management, value-based payment and care delivery models, and payer and provider engagement. As a values-driven professional, he is dedicated to inclusive relationship building, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and co-creating and driving strategic vision.

Prior to joining RTI Health Advance in 2022, Robert served as Vice President of Clinical Strategy at UnitedHealth Group, North Carolina. He previously served as Policy Fellow at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy; Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC), where he led their enterprise population health strategy for large-scale value-based care initiatives spanning 1,700+ providers; and Executive Director of Carolina Medical Home Network, a Medicare Accountable Care Organization composed of North Carolina Community Health Centers. Robert has also served as an independent consultant focused on Medicaid and Medicare transformation.

Robert holds Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University, in Dayton, Ohio, and bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio.
